Giving It Up To God

                           GIVING IT UP TO GOD

I USED TO ASK MYSELF, "WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN PEOPLE SAY, GIVE IT UP TO GOD?"

So, I asked someone else.  Someone who just might know the answer because it was not me.  I did not know.  I had absolutely no idea what people meant by this.  The funny thing is, when I asked this particular person my question, his answer was my question.  He said, "Just give it up to God."  So, I asked him how and he continued to tell me, "Just give it up to God."  So, here I am left with an answer to my question which in reality was the question itself!

I may never get an answer to my question but what I do know is that every single day I ask God for strength.  I ask Him for His forgiveness and love.  I thank Him for what I am today.  I am grateful for the lessons my life has taught me and I pray that my story will help and inspire at least one person.  My life was not easy but it was my choice.  I pray that other's will learn from my mistakes.

So, I guess that is what "GIVING IT UP TO GOD" is all about.  Trusting in Him, loving Him, and believing that in the end everything will all be wonderful as long as you BELIEVE.

Just a little something that was on my mind!

 The IMPOSSIBLE IS MOST DEFINITELY POSSIBLE!

DO NOT GIVE UP and NEVER GIVE IN!

    I haven't read a novel in years. I am also a recovering addict. I found the first of your Sweet Melissa series to be highly engaging. Look forward to downloading the second.

Editing a manuscript is like editing your life! Search for the mistakes and fix them! Book One of The Sweet Melissa Memoir Series has been revised!  No worries! I’m sure it has plenty of commas stuck in the wrong place! It also has dialogue and a more descriptive value including what? Go through the pages of your manuscript/life one word at a time.  Find an easy flow. Don’t make it complicated with terms you don’t understand and ask for help when you can.  There’s one thing I’ve found to be true, and that’s putting comma’s in the right place.  I habitually overuse them .  I guess they are my “NEW DRUG of CHOICE” and sometimes I follow my own rules of punctuation. 30 More Pages To Go! NAMM Show in 5 Days!

When you work for yourself... I think I need more hours in the day or possibly someone to help me.  I am determined to do this on my own and since I am so stubborn I have to keep fixing things as they pop up or are pointed out to me.  I guess people don’t realize that I ran the streets for decades and didn’t go to college. It’s a struggle but I am driven.  I wrote the Sweet Melissa Series as a  learning experience and as an outline for what’s to come.  I continue to learn each day and well those commas I feel I have to omit them completely to make the over judgemental reviewer happy.  Someone sent me some information on “The new editing style” and they don’t use “Serial Commas”anymore.  I thought it quite funny that “Serial Commas” actually is a real term.  Well, so much to learn and so little time.  LOVE-PEACE-HAPPINESS-STRENGTH-susie
