I have been working hard, struggling to get my revisions done.  I almost turned down an invitation to go visit, and celebrate New Years with my sister and her family in Lake Arrowhead.  I have decided to put everything on hold, for just two days!  I am taking my nephew with me, and we are going to relax and have fun!  My mother told me, "All work and no play, makes Susie a dull girl!"  Well, dull is what I will never be, but I understand.  I am spending some time away from the computer, just a little time, and I am going to have fun for me!  I wish you all a Happy New Year! I wish you all love and happiness!  I wish you all the strength to overcome your temptations!  You can do it! Anything is possible!

Some people are just born to be an addict.  There is that certain something in our brains, that attracts us to the excitement and thrill of the unknown.  An addict can not live within moderation.  We basically have no concept of what is too little, or what is too much.  We either go all the way, or not at all.  If we exchange our negative behavior with positive actions and behavior, we can be addicted to that as well. Some addicts will stop using one drug, and switch to the next.  This is just replacing one bad habit with another.  If we have the ability to do that, then we have the ability to become addicted to something good.  Something like a healthy lifestyle, with exercise and eating right.  We will most likely take it to the extreme, but in all reality, it is better than the former habit.  Some addicts will stop abusing drugs, and become addicted to work.  Still, that is better than the former habit. I have been through a lot in my life, and I usually sabotage any opportunity for success. This time , I am going to follow the advise of successful professionals, and just have faith, and follow my gut. If you feel something in your gut, give it your all. Never give in to a gut feeling. It is always right! Do not go against what your gut tells you! This sounds kinda funny doesn't it? Gut, Gut, Gut!, but you know what I am saying, don't you? The feeling you get when your inner self is telling you something.  Some call it your conscience. Some say it is God. Some doctors may even say it's schizophrenia! Whatever it is, follow it! Book 4 of the Sweet Melissa series is done, and available now. I am working on Book 5, which may be the last of the series, but I am not sure yet! There may be 6. I am also working on a fictional book for the young adult, about eating disorders. It is about a young girl in the fashion and modeling world, who becomes bulimic. I am trying to finish up book four of my memoir series called Destination Unknown! Hopefully by this weekend it will be done. I will be going to Colorado for four days and I hope to have the book done by then. If not, it will be out and available on Amazon before the end of this month! Although it has been hard lately, I am trying to get the fourth book of my series out. Sometimes just trying to fit everything I need to do into one day is so hard. Some days, I am just exhausted and feel like doing nothing, but I need to push on and get this done! Soon, the 4th book will be out!
